Nelson Packaging won the Best Environmental Initiative award by producing a new varigauge Recycled carrier bag.

The award was presented in London at the prestigious Plastic’s Industry Awards. Richard Jones, Managing Director say’s "At Nelson Packaging we care about the carrier bag and what it says about you. We promote the carrier bag as a very important brand communicator. Our high quality polythene bags are not throw away bags. They can be used time and time again. We make them from recycled polythene and print them using water based inks which do not pollute the atmosphere and when they are finally finished we can recycle them again."
